OUR FOUNDER : PAUL WILLIAM ALEXANDER

Founder President & President Emeritus Y's Men International

Paul William Alexander laid the foundation of a great movement and nourished it with rare
dedication. He gave it a golden motto and glittering and meaningful emblem, apart from the great
name and constitution.

superior Architect, skilled not only in adequate structural design but also as a master builder.
Alex remained and active Y's Men leader and President Emeritus until he entered his eternal abode
on 29th June, 1967. After his death he was honoured by a memorial service in Toledo attended by
seven past International Presidents and in memorial tribute held at the National Board of the
YMCAs of the USA.
